From Weekend Jobs to a Full-Time Crew
GM Outdoor Hardscape LLC began the way a lot of good trade businesses do after hours. Giovanni was working a full-time job and picking up landscaping work on evenings and weekends around Longmont, with one goal: to eventually build something of his own.
The work spoke for itself. One neighbor recommended us to another. That neighbor recommended two more. Before long there was more work coming in than there were weekends to do it, and the choice made itself. In
2025, GM Outdoor Hardscape LLC became a full-time family business.
Today Giovanni runs daily operations, the crews, and every project timeline. Marisol meets with clients, walks properties, and writes every estimate and proposal that goes out the door. Between the two of them, there's no
layer of management standing between you and the people actually accountable for your yard.
We've grown, but the standard hasn't changed since the weekend days: do the job with integrity, do it well, and
earn the next referral.

We quote what the job actually takes. If we find a problem mid-project, you hear about it that day not on the final invoice.

what separates a five-year patio from a fifteen-year one.

We give you a start date and a finish date, and we communicate the whole way through. You should never have to wonder whether we're coming.

The People Behind the Company
Giovanni Mejia — Owner
Giovanni oversees daily operations, leads the crews, and owns every project timeline. If a wall is being built or a patio is being set, he's the one making sure the base is right before the first stone goes down. He started this company because he loves the work and wanted to build something for his family
Marisol Gutierrez — Co-Owner
Marisol is who you'll meet first. She walks the property with you, listens to what you're actually trying to accomplish, and writes the estimate and proposal. She's also your day-to-day point of contact from the first phone call through the final walkthrough.

That's the honest version. We're building this company for our family, and the only way that works is if we take
care of yours first. It's why we still answer the phone ourselves, still walk every property personally, and still treat a
$3,000 walkway with the same care as a full backyard build.
Success, to us, isn't a number. It's a client who calls us back next spring for the next phase and gives our
number to their neighbor.
